Parks Project originated from a day of volunteering. Everyone can be a steward of public lands, national parks, city parks, or your local greenway. Together, we've logged over 12,906 volunteer hours and hosted over 124 volunteering days in parklands across the country.

No experience necessary! Join the Volunteer Alliance and learn from leaders, rangers, trail crew experts, and other volunteers.
We’ve made it easy to join an event near you! All you need to do is sign up via a weblink to the volunteer event—this helps us get an accurate headcount and make sure you get all the information you need.
The Field Crew Alliance doesn't have attendance requirements. Field Crew Leaders commit to one event per month.
Please bring water, proper clothing and shoes, sun protection, and snacks. We’ll provide the rest!
We provide each Field Crew member with a cleanup kit including gloves, bags, and of course a Parks Project bandana.
